Webinar: Concerns with Business Continuity, Remote Work and Internal Controls

  • Discuss how internal controls and fraud risks may change with a shift to a remote work environment.
  • Discuss how employees may adapt to remote work, especially if the work is not consistent or the length of time is uncertain.
  • Provide an analysis of how the likelihood of some fraud schemes may increase in a remote work environment.
  • Review government stimulus plans and how provisions of some plans may be difficult in a remote work environment.

Reservations not cancelled within 24 hours of the event will be billed at the chapter’s discretion.  Refunds will be honored net of any payment fees incurred by the chapter if paid via Stripe.

Speaker Bio: 

Anne M. Layne, CPA/CFF, CFE, CAMS, Partner of The McHard Firm, is a frequent speaker for continuing education programs for many professional and law enforcement organizations, including programs produced by the AICPA.  She is the past Director of Education for the New Mexico Chapter of the ACFE.  As a Partner at The McHard Firm, Anne performs complex forensic accounting engagements related to allegations of fraud and other white collar crimes.
